About Philipp Plein
Philipp Plein began designing furniture in Munich in the late 1990s, and his move into fashion happened almost by accident: a military parka he customized with a Swarovski crystal skull for a furniture fair drew more attention than his interiors. He launched his eponymous label in 2004.
Now headquartered in Switzerland and sold in more than 40 countries, Philipp Plein is defined by rock-and-roll maximalism, bold crystal embellishment, and the rhinestone skull motif that has become the house's unmistakable signature.
