The story
The Yacht-Master arrived in 1992 as Rolex’s nautical watch for sailors rather than divers, first in 18 ct yellow gold (16628). The steel-and-platinum ‘Rolesium’ 16622 of 1999 made it a modern classic.
Today it spans three sizes, from the 37 mm 268xxx to the 42 mm 226xxx, and materials from Rolesium to Everose gold on Oysterflex and RLX titanium.
