The story
The Perpetual 1908 replaced the Cellini collection in 2023 as Rolex’s classical dress watch. Its name recalls 1908, the year Hans Wilsdorf registered the Rolex brand.
It is 39 mm, made only in precious metals, and unusually for Rolex has a transparent case back showing calibre 7140. A yellow-gold Settimo bracelet was added in 2025.

The calibre
Calibre 7140: automatic, about 66 hours of power reserve, Chronergy escapement and Syloxi silicon hairspring, visible through the case back.
